Cut the Mirabelle plums in half and remove the pit
Cut the half vanilla bean lenghtwise
Add the plums to a sauce pan together with the sugar, cinnamon, the vanilla bean and a squeeze of lemon juice
Cook for approx 20 minutes
Let the mixture cool down completely (place in freezer if you want to speed up the process)
Once cold, add to blender to and mix it smooth
Mix the cream, yogurt and mascarpone into a smooth texture
Blend the plum mixture and cream/cheese/yogurt mixture
Add the mixture to the ice cream machine and let it work its wonder :-)
